Morgan is an award-winning creative strategist who has spent the past decade working her magic in marketing and making a name for herself through bold ideas, smart strategy, and a knack for bringing visions to life. After years of helping brands tell their stories, it was finally time to tell her own through a personal portfolio that would showcase her body of work, reflect her personality, and open the door to future opportunities.

She had been dreaming of launching this portfolio for over three years. Morgan had the vision, the content, and the passion, but the idea of pulling it all together into something cohesive, beautiful, and true to her felt overwhelming. Between the sheer volume of work (200+ pieces of media!) and wanting it to perfectly reflect her personality and professional caliber, the project kept getting pushed to the back burner.

When we first connected, she was ready to finally bring her vision to life and she wanted it done in a way that felt collaborative, intentional, and (dare I say) fun!! My mission was clear: to create a portfolio that didn’t just showcase her work, but felt like her in every color, font, and detail. Something she would feel proud to share, excited to promote, and confident representing her out in the world.

From the start, I focused on designing custom branding and a website that felt bold, vibrant, and full of personality — a true reflection of her work and creative spirit. Every design choice was intentional, crafted to help her stand out to future employers and collaborators while staying authentic to who she is. The colors, typography, and layout worked together to create a visual identity that was just as dynamic and inspiring as her portfolio itself.

The best part was taking her passion and translating it into a polished, personality-packed digital portfolio — all in just one week. Before our first meeting, Chan’s “getting ready” checklist was incredibly helpful guidance for both gathering materials and helping me to clarify exactly what I wanted from my site. During our initial meeting, Chan took that readiness one step further by asking some of the most thoughtful and intentional creative questions that helped me distill my thoughts and vision even better. She gave me a clear overview of her process and what the week would look like together.
 
First step: Branding Planning
After that initial call where we agreed upon colors and the vibe of the page, Chan was back to be in less than 2 hours with samples of multiple different color/font pallets. When I didn’t vibe with one (she agreed,) she immediately turned around another option. Then, Chan empowered me to choose what was feeling the best for me by asking questions and providing advice that helped me understand the “why” behind my choices, while also validating those choices with her design eye and providing helpful suggestions.
 
Second step: Branding Reveal
I didn’t know what I was expecting when I went to make a website, but I can safely say that Chan blew those expectations out of the water ten fold when she revealed her first pass at the design. Specifically, her ability to create something so beautiful that felt so “me” is truly a gift.
 
Third Step: Creating the rest of the website!
Portfolios are no easy task. From the amount of pages needed and files to include, there is well over 200+ pieces of media. In two days, Chan was able to create the ENTIRE THING in the beautiful branding and design. We had regular check ins at the start and end of each day, and she quickly and happily made all of the adjustments I needed, as well as was proactive in suggesting amazing creative ideas that elevated the look, feel, and language of the entire site.
 
Overall, Chan brings an executive level of professionalism and collaboration, delivered with warmth and genuine care. You can feel her passion and how dedicated she is to making the client not just happy, but stoked. She makes adjustments quickly and collaboratively.
